ScumBob Wiki is a Fandom wiki focused on discussing bad episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. The wiki used to be good, though after Golfpecks256 implemented a policy that all episodes should be on the wiki, the wiki began to decline in quality.

Why SpongeBob hates this wiki!

  1. The biggest problem with this wiki is, as mentioned above, that it is flooded with pages about episodes that aren't even hated.[1]
  2. Almost non-existent quality control, as many of the pages are very short and some don't even have images.[2]
  3. A tongue in cheek page about ranks of ScumBob, which was made by Bluba in response to an overflow of categories, was taken extremely seriously and people now act as though they are official rankings of ScumBob, even though there was no consensus or decision made to make them official rankings.[3]
  4. There are only three active admins.[4]
  5. As a result of Golf's policy, the wiki remains extremely divided and thus there is a lot of arguing in comments sections.
  6. Since 2022, it has become a ripoff of the Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki.
    • In fact, some pages even copy content from that wiki.[5][6][7][8]
  7. Its sister wiki, Anti-ScumBob Wiki, which is about good episodes of SpongeBob, suffers from the same problem, but is even more severely affected in that the wiki was practically abandoned for a while until Bluba built up the wiki, though after he was demoted and blocked the wiki went back to being abandoned, with no active admins and short pages about episodes[9] and games[10], some of which aren't even liked.[11]

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The wiki used to be good before June 2020 when Golf's policy was implemented.
  2. The wiki still does have good explanations as to why certain episodes are bad.[12]
