Enough time has passed. It's time to reveal everything (I can remember at least).

Hi. Not sure if this wiki is super active or what not, but I hope people see this because this is kinda important.

If you don't know, I'm Wage, aka The Nose, and I was the creator of this doggie doodie fart excuse of a "wiki". I went by many names since my start on the reception wikis on FANDOM in 2018; Emoticon Rules!, MiiFan2004, Chaofun, Pinky Malinky, That One Stickman, Sticky, WageTheUglyDoll2004, WageUglyDollandMarlaPlaymobil2004 (I think that's how it went), ItMeansNothing, and Grand Spangus. I think there was like one or two other nicknames I had that I can't remember at the moment. Around June 2018, I wanted to make a wiki that solely focused on bad YouTubers that weren't focused on Terrible TV Shows Wiki, so I made a wiki called Garbage YouTubers Wikia (at the time I referred to it as "wikia" instead of "wiki" for some reason), and then proceeded to plagiarize a Terrible TV Shows Wiki article about Durv (the "wanna join my free giftcard giveaway" kid from 2017). I abounded the wiki shortly after when I promoted it and was immediately called out for copy-pasting articles from the wiki.

But I wanted to give the bad YouTuber wiki thing another shot, so I created this, not knowing what true hell I was about to unleash, and this time, I made my own article, an article over a reaction video to the ReBoot: The Guardian Code trailer, which I found "cuhwingewuurthae". However, I would then find out that a user named EezyCheezy had beat me to the idea with his wiki Awful YouTubers Wiki. I would then apologize to him that I was not aware of that wiki when making my wiki but it turns out the wiki was pretty much dead due to poor quality control and a terrible userbase. EezyCheezy even said so himself, but then another user popped up in the conversation.

A user...named Mar9122.

Mar wanted to know if he could transfer some of his pages over to my wiki, which were mainly about his former friends that ditched him because he acted like a total prick and is mad that they won't forgive him. Not knowing at the time, I agreed him to do so, and needing some admins to help out the wiki, I promoted him as such. He was my first and most notorious admin. In fact, he's so notorious that he would get the credit of creating this wiki instead of me, which to be honest for a while given what I now know about him, I let it stay that way for a while...until now. Not sure if Encyclopedia Dramaticia is even aware of this wiki, but if so, well then there goes my innocence for them :/.

More pages would be made, whether it was original or transferred from Awful YouTubers Wiki. However, I began to put focus a lot on YouTubers and videos that focused mainly on Ben 10. Oh my Ben 10 hate phase was...surely something. There was 2 pages I made that focused on 2 sides of the community, which I dubbed one the "Ultimate Oriforce" community (a shitty mixture of words of the original Ben 10, Ben 10 Alien Force, and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien; a side which preferred the first 3 shows of the franchise), and what I focused more often the "Omnireboot" community (mixture of words Ben 10 Omniverse and the Ben 10 reboot; the other side which preferred the last 2 shows of the franchise). I put a lot more focus on that type of content more than I should have and even if they don't deserve it.

Before I continue, let me just say that its nonexistent quality control and setbacks were one of the reasons why the wiki turned to shit. Basically any YouTuber big or small could get a page, which was why about 75% of the wiki was filled with low-effort pages of GoAnimators, Gacha users, UTTP users, and mainly little kids on their mommy's iPad fucking around with KineMaster or whatever. In fact, while I loathe Twitter (I got cancelled there 3 weeks after I made my account because I said the FNAF movie looked like shit), there's a tweet that pretty much sums up exactly one of its biggest problems.

This leads to what I can assume would be the very first drama on this wiki. I was having conflict with a user named koolboy (he had numbers I can't remember what) who would reply on every single negative comment I had to say about Ben 10 Omniverse, and it got to the point that despite not having any videos or notability, I made a page on him. Well, it wouldn't be until later on when one of his friends, Idl3Tnkr (I think?) found the page and commented on it negatively. He also criticized me for being immature for making a page on him for generally pathetic reasons. He banned me right on the spot. And soon, he would show the page to koolboy and despite making it very clear he knows of its existence, I tried to deny the page. Eventually, Mar having heard of the situation, had enough, and set up a private conversation between me and koolboy, and I eventually apologized and we never spoke again. The page was deleted and Idl3Tnkr was also unblocked.

Since then the wiki grew larger and larger, with more pages being made and more admins being promoted. Everything was going fine, well except for Mar, which apparently one of his "enemies" found his page but I don't remember what really happened there. But then on August 2018, the receptions wiki were facing a purge. People immediately blamed it on the infamous FANDOM user PKMNLivesNew, the spooky dooky scary SJW whom I only had like 1 conversation, but to be honest I'm not sure why it happened. But we moved over to Miraheze, and so did my wiki, as it would later shut down after the moving process. Little did anyone know, this was when the wiki started to go down to shit.

It didn't start out that bad. I did my usual and so did Mar. However, it wouldn't be until at the end of 2018-beginning of 2019 where things went into a downward spiral. There was a user known as TheToonTrain who made pages regarding 2 My Life as a Teenage Robot adult parodies (one of them being the What What in the Robot parody), and hated Sausage Party so much to the point that despite Awful Movies Wiki blacklisting the film off the wiki, he made a page there and was banned. He then got into conflict with Mar and ended up making a video of him strangling Mar. Despite Mar claiming he has improved from his behavior and tried to move on from his flame war phase, he chose to declare war on TheToonTrain, who spoiler alert, was just an 11 year old boy. But that never crossed my mind at the time, nor did a bunch of others. We had not one, not two, but 3 fucking flame wars with this guy. The flame wars mainly consisted of hate videos taken from random pieces of media, for instance my videos were from Sr Pelo, Mar's videos were from some kind of warlike video game, and Toony's were from childrens media like The Brave Little Toaster. There was even hate art tossed in here and there.

We won the first two, but lost the third one. And it was all downhill from here, I could go on and on about every single drama this dumpster fire had but I would be here all night if so. It was really that bad. There was several disagreements with users over certain pages. Lots of little kids getting mad over the littlest things. I also got demoted from admin rights after banning an annoying user who was bullying others and was put on comment admin duty instead. Mar "left" the wiki (I put "left" in quotation marks because he actually went under a sockpuppet account and very poorly pretended to be another person) under the disguise of KillerPyro). We were also involved in a series of events where GoAnimators would find their own pages and make generic rants out of it and the users would be all like "oh nooosessis were under attak 😨😨😨".

This wiki also got roped into this Outcast Network thing which was co-founded by Mar and a user named Seanbuscus (who was an absolute asshole by the way). There's even a logo for it which if you ask me does not at all fit its purpose.

That's because there were wikis that criticized and praised Miraheze/FANDOM wikis and users. Dear god those wikis were a disaster. I was banned off entirely from the Reception Wikis because I had an argument over Venom being on Awful Movies Wiki (because I believe that just because it was positively received by fans it means it can go to Greatest Movies Wiki der der) and was banned there for a while. I got big mad and proceeded to make a page about them. They found out, and I was banned for "high treason". I stayed over at the Outcast Network before going over into a new account and sneaking my way into the reception wikis again. It didn't take long until someone found out who I really was, but I got off scott free and haven't banned from the wikis since...well except for Crappy Games Wiki but that was because I was changing captions from certain pages but they didn't like that and I got permabanned for that (shitty) reason.

2020 really saw the wiki crumble apart and eventually burn. There was the whole Inkster drama which I don't remember about, but eventually a huge argument with Inkster over his actions led to the Miraheze staff stepping in and trying to shut it down. It was at this point where the wiki was pretty much on fire and it needed to be put out, so after that mess, I decided to resign from the wiki for good. And a day later, after 2 miserable years of operation, Atrocious YouTubers Wiki was taken out to the back and shot by the Miraheze staff, along with the rest of the other Outcast Network.

Funny enough, much of its toxicity was moved directly to the reception wikis, which would then rebrand to Qualtipedia, so I guess you can I was responsible for the wiki's downfall...oops :/. Mar got exposed for his sockpuppet account, and then eventually as a pedophile for posting lolicon in a Discord server with minors. There are rumors that he even groomed some of his friends during his time on Atrocious YouTubers. I for one left Miraheze around late 2021 and moved to Discord for a while then Pumble and then never again being around a single server or wikifarm since...until maybe today but even then I'm not sure if I want to have any involvement here besides maybe reworking this page.

TL;DR I made Atrocious YouTubers Wiki back in 2018 with the purpose to criticize bad YouTubers and videos, but instead it turned into a drama-filled shithole of little kids and weirdos that had no quality control or setbacks but to this day remains in a special place in my mind.

Don't get me wrong, looking back now, being on FANDOM and Miraheze generally fucked me up as a teen, but I had some good memories there. There was some good users that didn't become a pedo or a communist or whatever, but if I had to do this all over again, I would hire someone who has had admin experience in the past, someone who didn't cause shit with users and made pages out of them because they don't like them, someone who just...seemingly is interested in the wiki not for the sake of revenge but rather to contribute, to put a museum of infamous YouTubers. Like if this was made let's just say 2022, we could have very well detailed pages of YouTubers like SSniperWolf or Colleen Ballinger because well, they're infamous! Of course it can't be on Miraheze because they don't allow wikis to criticize real people anymore, which makes perfect sense now that I'm thinking about it.

But all in all, this wiki sucks. I'm sorry I made it in the first place. I'm sorry for how it all went. I may retool this page because to be honest, not only is it very weak-looking, but also the Mr. Beast pointers aged like milk. But other than that, I'm probably not going to do much here.

👃

It's not perfect but this page is one of the best I've seen on a reception wiki for multiple counts. And a lot is because you can take several of the points and apply them to every reception wiki. There you come to understand why these wikis are inherently drama magnets that waste the time of children and immature adults. It's overdue to deplatform the rest of them from civilized farms. The whole Toon affair should have never happened yes, because Mar should have been a decent human being, but also because he was too young for this shit and should have been removed by platform staff. But I digress. Nice page. --raidarr (💬) 09:38, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
I do appreciate your thoughts on the page. Personally, I think users who make pages about wikis should have actual experience with it rather than just making it because they heard of it from a GoAnimator or what not or so forth. Helps the fact that I made this dumpster fire too. Also, what really got me was the page before then felt so bitter over the inclusion of Mr. Beast on the wiki and how he's "one of the greatest YouTubers of all time" (which is so funny given what we know now). I originally didn't plan on coming here and just let Mar the Kiddie Diddler take the blame, but knowing cancel culture these days, I figured I'd dig this one up and just put all the info on what I endeared during this wiki's miserable lifespan. I was clearly not old enough to make a wiki and actually make it good if literally the pages I spent the most effort on during its time were literally fucking Ben 10 pages. I also do want some feedback in order to improve it so it comes across as more informative and also a what not to do if anyone decides to make an Atrocious YouTubers Wiki successor. As for the ToonTrain thing, yes what Toon did wasn't right, but Mar was an idiot if he was going to cream his pants over a poorly made KineMaster video that mocks him. He was such a pussy that any slight criticism would have set him off. --The Nose (talk) 09:20, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Oh, and Fandom deplatforming had nothing to do with PKMNLivesNew. Fandom was already rebranding from Wikia at that time and was looking for its most wanted to eliminate at all costs. The worst PKMN did was bring it to their attention slightly sooner. His demonization is one of many black spots on reception wikis as a community. It made little more sense than blaming you for an effect that was going to take hold sooner or later, on wikis that appeal to people because they let you bitch about what you don't like or fanboy(etc) what you do. It's cathartic. It's the only reason people do it, it's just that some package it better than others. --raidarr (💬) 09:46, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
I honestly didn't figure PKMN had anything to do with the closure. I was just brainwashed because of Grust's big massive anti-SJW hate cock basically getting in his own face and complain about how PKMN is a SJW because he shut down his wiki for political reasons or what not. Honestly, I can't remember why PKMN was called an SJW. Maybe because they were a user for RationalWiki? I don't know if even that makes them a SJW. What I do know is that Mar the Cosmodore Predecessor actually attempted to make a series of 5 ways to kill PKMN. I don't think it was made, but I did make a shitty intro to it using a homebrew paint app on the Wii U. I guess what I was trying to say earlier was that once the Outcast Network shut down, most of its users moved exclusively to the main reception wikis, and in which most of its users basically dragged their drama plague and spreaded it. Because I made the wiki, it was safe to say that I pretty much started the plague, the users made it worse, and then once it shut down, it spreaded over. Honestly, on paper, the reception wikis wouldn't be such a bad idea, and execution wise, it would've been actually pretty good had it not been bogged down by political garbage MAGA anti-SJW shit. I remember Best TV Shows praising Butch Hartman for being a Trump supporter despite being a terrible artist and also a bad person, I remember so many games on Crappy Games because of S J W content like women despite its positive reception, and I remember Terrible TV Shows criticizing Toonami for going "woke" because it acknowledged trans people. --The Nose (talk) 09:20, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Being bogged down in garbage is inevitable once the wider internet discovers a community that doesn't and can't set consistent standards for quality and attracts preteens or frankly, not entirely functional neurodivergents who hyperobcess about this stuff. It works if people are in an echo chamber and collapses outside of it. This path has been visible since the start and has lead to the collapse of reception wikis as a major entity. On paper it's not a bad idea to make wikis about reception, unless you look at the history and see how it always comes down in execution (because of course the most fun thing to go on about is people's political bullshit of the week, yesterday anti/SJW, today MAGA). It's comically easy to tell where a wiki leans politically by what kind of criticism it chooses to humor. That's one thing that's leveled out somewhat, at least. I like to think I helped extract some of that specific brainrot in '21, '22 ish. But unfortunately there is so much more. New Qualitipedia is the last meaningful haven of this, it will see its twilight very soon. Then, mainline reception wikis will be cast into obscurity, ones like this will be on the back foot, and Miraheze ones will slowly shutter - or maybe all at once. Then, maybe people can think of something better to do, a formula that isn't doomed to this cycle that repeats year after year. The only way for it to work is it to be rethought from scratch, accounting for people's worst impulses. --raidarr (💬) 10:40, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
