Is this page false in what some pointers say about this wiki true?

@PooksterTheBear: I heard some strong claims Can you provide me some sources to back it up please as I want to know why what this page says is false and I don't want an edit war with you as it will not solve anything at all and only leads to bad events. Let's see. No items. You're out of stamina. Im faster then you. Uh oh looks like your going to lose and there is not()(*&*(*&*(*hing you can do. (talk) 04:28, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

Pardon me for my earlier behavior. I do have good reasons why these individuals were never considered helpful users and there are several good reasons why all of the Fandom users do not like them. I don't understand how their behavior is helpful in anyway.

As for the so-called "abusive admins", I looked into their messages, and most of them are actually very civil and reasonable with other users (they don’t block anyone just because, they always have a reason and they investigate any reports to make sure they are true before actually going through with it) and the users that do get blocked by them have actually violated the rules and even ToU and ToS. (B1bl1kal’s case does make sense, if you observe what he’s doing not just on Villains Wiki, but elsewhere where he’s an admin or mod where he blocks users indefinitely for the most minor reasons and doesn’t provide proof, even accusing them of breaking all of the rules, even if only one was broken, intentional or otherwise. New users are not immune to this either). As for the others, they should not have to bear the guilt of the poor faith admin's actions. Often times the users that try to appeal their block often act immaturely and demand to be unblocked without any real effort to change their own behavior to convince them:

The pointers that have the complaints about certain characters being Pure Evil while claiming they weren't well founded either as it does not explain exactly how these characters do not qualify nor did the people in question even try to bring it up the problem on this wiki (their lack of sources on most pointers do not help here) and the Pure Evil Proposals on these characters clearly back up the claims on how they qualify. In fact, before 2017 the Pure Evil category was badly abused (regular users that were it to villains who do not qualify) to the point where the PE Proposal system came to be to curb this issue.

Most users are good faith editors and it is often the toxic users that get blocked and sometimes they are the same ones that end up playing the victim when it happens to them and wonder why they are blocked when their childish behavior and inability to find faults in themselves is the real problem, and the rules, ToU and ToS already made it clear that such behavior are not tolerated.

In the meantime, if a pointer is to be added, a reliable source needs to back it up in order for it to be relevant. (talk) 05:03, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
