Villains Wiki

"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
- Aaron Eckhart
Type: Informative wiki
Founding date: May 26, 2006

The Villains Wiki is a mirror version to the Heroes Wiki and is dedicated to creating a database of all known villains from all media - ranging from Saturday morning cartoon shows of old to books, video games, and comics. The wiki was created on May 26, 2006, by FrozenFlame. The wiki used to be decent, but it unfortunately declined in quality as years went on, especially since 2017 where the wiki has declined in quality by a lot.

Bad Qualities

  1. The obvious: they're biased against villains, even when the villain could be better than the hero, sometimes becoming a protagonist (though this is understandable, since we need a wiki for knowing where our favorite villains are).
  2. Multiple instances of hypocrisy:
    • They made articles for the entire Griffin family from Family Guy except for Chris in which Chris has also committed crimes before as well (though to be fair, they used to have a page before it was deleted).
    • They deleted pages about Katsuki Bakugo and the Titans from Teen Titans GO! But they haven't deleted certain pages.
  3. They even made pages on several characters that don't even fit as villains, especially those without a page on the Heroes Wiki.
    • They also add characters that are more neutral sided rather than being villains, such as Ada Wong.
    • Moreover, they also add characters that are just simply against to people with bad side only (with unintentional/minor to good/neutral side), such as I Spit on Your Grave protagonists, Deadpool (most versions), Punisher (Marvel), Agent 47, etc.
  4. A subsect of the community focuses on real-life villains, which also include internet users that cannot even hold a candle to the most despicable of human beings, creating severe bias and possible slander, even if they forbid real-life villains.

Good Qualities

  1. Before May 2017, the wiki used to be good.
  2. The design of the page is pretty cool.
  3. The tags have funny phrases.
  4. At least most of the pages on this wiki are informative.
  5. There are also some helpful admins on there such as Lucariobot and JakeTheSnake0451.
  6. The user Jared Messing is very nice and generous to users, and he is smart and funny.
  7. AustinDR eventually blocked B1bl1kal indefinitely due to harassment/intimidating behavior, meaning that B1bl1kal is no longer an admin.[1]
  8. They have deleted some characters who just plain jerks, antiheroes, unexplored, misguided, misunderstood, or even unaware of their actions rather than actual villains, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Squidward Tentacles, Patrick Star, Oscar the Grouch, Lobot, Sirius Black, and Albus Dumbledore (who does not really even doing anything that immoral).
  9. They have pages for villains such as Dolores Umbridge, Lord Voldemort, Gillert Grindelwald, Emperor Palpatine,Bowser,Freddy Fazbear,Dr.Zomboss, Darth Vader and Trigon(Teen titans 2003).
