The Five Nights at Treasure Island Wiki is the wiki for the 2014 Five Nights at Freddy's fan game inspired by the Abandoned by Disney creepypasta, Five Nights at Treasure Island. Though it appears to be a magical wiki on the outside due to its focus topic, this is not the case for how it truly is. There are multiple versions of the wiki because a second one was created by the game's third director.

Why It's Pointless to Wish Upon a Star

  1. The administrators are generally abusive and don't like users doing things they don't want to.[1] As it's hosted on Fandom Wiki, the staff running the platform as a whole don't care what these wikis do to their users.
  2. They constantly block people all the time for no reason.[2] Even casual fans of the fan game aren't allowed on these wikis without being targeted in some way. In addition to this, when they were called out for the fact that they have an impulsive desire to block users when they realized they incorrectly blocked someone, they chose to vilify that user and double down on their apparent "rule" when they were called out for it by blocking the initial person and shaming them in front of the first user they blocked by accident.[3][4] This ultimately shows that the administrators seek control rather than to create a functioning wiki.
  3. All of the pages are of low quality because the users and administrators are negligent.[5] Adding onto the aforementioned point about them blocking someone completely unfairly, the admin they blocked was someone who was trying to improve the wiki in a way they didn't like, which once again proves that they seek control and not quality.
  4. Their solution to stopping a troll from attacking their pages was to lock all of them and prevent any normal users from contributing. This was also against the rules of wiki management, as stated by Fandom Wiki themselves,[6] but they managed to evade any consequences for doing this.
  5. There are duplicate wikis. There is a wiki for versions through 1.0 to 5.0 already in use, meaning it could have been adopted for the creator of the final version to revamp it, but the wiki for 6.0, the final version of Oblitus Casa and 6.5 was made separately from it instead.
  6. Despite the fan game being popular and drawing in many users, no rules were established for the wiki created following the release of 6.0 and only one administrator intervened to create them, meaning that the administrators don't really care about disciplining the users of their wiki at all.

Why There Is Still Some Magic

  1. Before 6.0, the wikis were full of accepting people who didn't abuse others just for interfering with their work and the administrators weren't obsessed with blocking people all of the time.
  2. The articles themselves are informative enough to understand what the series is about, but still not enough to show the users who edit them actually care about the wikis.
