The Inkster Controversy was a controversy that happened in 2020 involving a Miraheze user named Inkster.

Inkster and Ramadhan1a

Inkster has been rumored to be overly negative towards Ramadhan1a, despite the fact that Ramadhan1a actually improved themselves, while Inkster did not.

Inkster on Discord

One day EijiZeBoi demoted Inkster on a wiki or two, telling him his behavior on Discord was unreasonable and that Inkster was hard to be around. Inkster had apparently told a user known as Mickey Mouse to change another user's username to "fookin wee posh cunt." Inkster was rumored to have talked about his fetish a lot and that he would get sensitive to people downplaying it.

Inkster's apology

One day Inkster made an apology on Discord, and while some forgave him for his actions afterward many thought his apology was insincere. After word of how Inkster didn't improve many more deemed his apology insincere.

Inkster on Toxic Fandoms & Hatedoms Wiki

On an unknown date, Inkster became a bureaucrat on Toxic Fandoms & Hatedoms Wiki. Sometime after his promotion, drama started happening. Users eventually starting blocking him on the wiki, and asked the other bureaucrats to demote him, and generally trying to pursue their individual motives they had made for Inkster's state on Miraheze.

Thorn Ice

On Unfavorable Wikis and Users Wiki, a user named Thorn Ice showed up editing Inkster's page. This would later be proven to be Inkster, or someone that shared his IP address. Thorn Ice put cover on himself by saying he hated fetishes, thought Bea from Pokémon was overrated, generally saying the almost exact opposite of what Inkster liked. This was suspicious for many reasons, as he came out of nowhere days after Inkster starting getting blocked over several wikis. After Thorn Ice removed some text about fetishes and modified a part about Bea on a joke blog post on Crappy Games Wiki, he got blocked there for being an Inkster sockpuppet.

Inkster's global lock

Inkster got globally locked on Miraheze sometime later, after FireBarrier101 reported Thorn Ice and Inkster to the Stewards' noticeboard via a check user request.

Getting SuperStreetKombat banned from SephSpace

In April or May of 2021, Inkster had migrated to a private wiki on Miraheze called SephSpace by creating yet another sock puppet there. In early June of the same year, while another user on SS called SuperStreetKombat was doing some off-wiki work such as managing the Reception Wikis, Inkster accused him of doing things such as defending the "no custom caption" rule, removing Nintendo from Crappy Games Wiki's Forbidden Pages list (which was what Duchess did, not Street), and restoring the YouTube page on Rotten Websites Wiki, and asked DuchessTheSponge to ban Street from SephSpace entirely, frustrating the latter and causing him to leave Miraheze for a while. However, two weeks later, SuperStreetKombat returned in an attempt to get unblocked from SephSpace by clarifying everything he'd done, and also came to the realization that Inkster was behind the block, which ultimately resulted in Inkster's sock puppet being globally locked and Street getting his SephSpace rights back until it was shut down in August 2021.
